Evidence was found at the scene that led the Imperial investigators to family members or employees of Renek Motion Industries.

Underground rumors spread that the crime was carried out by the Deadeyes, a Corellian splinter group of the Rebel Alliance.

Furious, Jad Renek planted evidence that HE was responsible and set out in one of his family’s ships to get revenge against the Deadeyes and the rest of the Corellian Rebels responsible for framing his family.
